Vehicle Bill of Sale

The Nevada bill of sale allows two (2) parties to make a purchase and sale for a vehicle. In order to complete, both buyer and seller must authorize the form and the miles on the odometer must be stated. The new owner must return this document to the Department of Motor Vehicles office in your jurisdiction (Find Here).

Documents needed in addition to the bill of sale to register an automobile

• Vehicle Inspection Certificate
• Title Application
  • Including the title provided by the seller with his or her signature transferring it to you
• Odometer Disclosure Guide
• Proof of insurance by showing the card provided by your agency
• Bring two (2) checks to pay for the sales  tax and registration fees
• *If you decide to elect someone else to handle the sale or registration of the vehicle, you will need the DMV Power of Attorney Document
