How to Apply for a Job at Red Lobster

In order to apply for a job at Red Lobster, a potential applicant may go to their website, www.RedLobster.com, then click on the employment link at the bottom of the page. The Hourly Positions link will open to a page with some information about working hourly for this company. In addition to the job description and benefits links there is a ‘How to Apply’ link, which will direct a candidate to a login page. Here, the candidate may login or create an account with Red Lobster.

A potential applicant will need about 45 minutes to create an account and fill in an application. Once an applicant has created an account the browser will open a page where the applicant may choose from several links; search job openings, job submission, assessments, edit profile, resume/cv, search agent manager, job cart, candidate portal, and saved drafts. The ‘Search Job’ tab will direct the browser to give a choice to search for a job using either location or job type. The location feature on this site may be very useful as it allows an applicant to type in a zip code and a maximum number of miles they are willing to travel. Once applicants have selected a job they are interested in applying to, they may have to read an e verify statement, depending on the state they live in. After acknowledging that an applicant has either read the e-verify statement or verified that he/she does not live in one of the states where the statement verification is required the page will direct to the job description for the selected opportunity. Here, applicants are given a chance to apply to the job. An applicant will be asked a series of questions, given a chance to provide his/her information then an opportunity to submit the online application.  Applicants may also save this to their cart at any time.

If an applicant wishes to apply for a corporate position they must select the restaurant support link. This will open the search to positions in areas such as human resources or marketing. In this case there will be a link near the bottom of the introduction titled ‘The Restaurant Support Center’ which will direct the visitor to a similar page as someone applying to the restaurant but will offer administration as an option to search. Applicants will be asked a series of questions then given a chance to upload a resume. Once the resume has been uploaded candidates will be offered a chance to submit the application.

In any area that applicants are interested in applying to, they will have to acknowledge that they have read any required material, answer a series of questions, upload a resume then submit the application.
