Applicants interested in hourly retail positions or corporate positions may apply online by going to their homepage www.7-eleven.com. There will be a ‘Careers’ link in the upper right hand of the page. This link will direct the browser to their careers page, http://careers.7-eleven.com/careers/Careers.html. Here, there will be some information on working for 7-11 and a few links near the top right hand corner of the page where the ‘Apply Now’ button is located. This will open to a page with an introduction to corporate jobs and sales associate jobs. Selecting the ‘Search Management Jobs’ option will open a page where an applicant may search for a job by keyword, category, position type or location. There will also be an opportunity to create a profile. This is contained as a link in the welcome paragraph.
The applicant may search for jobs however cannot apply without creating a profile. Clicking the ‘Create a Profile’ link will direct the browser to a page where one may upload a resume to create a profile, use an external account such as LinkedIn or Facebook, or to create one using a form. The applicant may upload a resume regardless of whether they choose to create a profile via form or resume. The profile form will ask for professional experience, education, and salary history. Once it is filled out, the applicant will be directed to the job they were interested in and they may apply and submit their interest online through a very short contact form.
If a candidate wishes to apply for an hourly position in a store they may go to the careers site and select the ‘Sales Associate’ link. This will direct applicants to sign in where they may submit an online application. This is a straightforward online form which typically takes about fifteen minutes to complete.
