Use the car sales receipt, also known as a ‘bill of sale’, to record a sale of an automobile between a buyer and seller. It is required to take the mileage from the odometer when completing this form and becomes legal upon both parties authorization.
How to Write
The following should be included in the receipt;
- Vehicle Details
- Registration Number
- Make
- Model
- Color
- Vehicle Identification No.
- Odometer
- Buyer and Seller Details
- Full Name
- Full Address
- Signature
Both must verify that The undersigned purchaser acknowledges receipt of the above vehicle in exchange for the cash sum amount being the agreed price between the seller and purchaser for the aforementioned vehicle. The purchaser and his/her respective parties sell the vehicle as seen and inspected.
The seller signs below to acknowledge receipt of the amount agreed upon in exchange for the aforementioned vehicle.
