An acting résumé template, or ‘resume, is used to outline an individual’s experience and knowledge in order to apply for a role in a film, play, or televised show. The form should include the person’s past history acting, education, and any special skills they may have that would benefit themselves over someone else.

How to Write

The resume should include any and all information related to the role being applied for and any current knowledge that may be to their betterment including;

• Personal
  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Hair Color
  • Eye Color
  • Vocal Range (example: Alto) – Should only be included if you are a singer
• History
  • Theatre
  • Film
  • Television
  • Commercial
• Education
  • College/University
  • Special Acting School/Class
• Special Skills

It is also important to have mugshots with you and attached to the resume upon submission.
