A Vermont Durable Financial Power of Attorney Form allows a person (Referred to as “Principal”) to be able to designate someone else (Referred to as “Agent ” or “Attorney in Fact”) for any type of monetary related decision or situation on their behalf. The form remains valid even if the Principal should become in a mental state of incapacitation and must be notarized to become legal (although some States allow for witnesses that are not blood related).
