The bank of america credit card is a secured visa that can be obtained by submitting your information online or through a paper form and receiving notice of approval. If deemed qualified, the card will be shipped in the mail to the address provided on the application and will arrive in the standard mail within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days.
How to Apply
Option 1 – Apply Online – The easiest and fastest way is to apply online. Especially if you have an account with Bank of America you will be able to merge both your accounts and it will be much easier for you to be approved. You have four (4) main options of which to choose when applying:
- Earn Cash Back
- Earn Travel Rewards
- Pay Down Balances Fast
- or to select a card just for Building Credit.
Fill in the card that best fits your needs and you will need to fill in your details which shouldn’t take more than ten (10) minutes. You will be instantly notified if you are approved and if you are the physical card will arrive in the mail.
Option 2 – Apply at a Branch – You can always go to any branch location and apply. The process will be the same and if you are not successful you will be able to apply for a pre-paid card which does not involve a credit check.
