Boat Bill of Sale

The Georgia bill of sale forms can be downloaded to start the transfer of a boat or vehicle. Once the documents have been authorized by both parties they are legal and a copy must be kept by the new owner for registration and title with the Dept. of Motor Vehicles.

How to Register a Vehicle in Georgia?

• The new owner has seven (7) days to register the new vehicle with the department of motor vehicles office in their county (Find Your Office).
• The new owner will need to have the completed bill of sale and a title application. The seller’s signature along with his or her information needs to be on both forms for it to be accepted.
• Certificate of Inspection – T-22B
• A inspection of the vehicle must be completed at a State certified shop or by a licensed mechanic.
