The Michigan purchase and sale agreements are used as a tool for a written transaction of residential real estate between a buyer and a seller. It is not required but recommended that a real estate agent licensed by the State be used or an attorney to oversee that all the proper forms and disclosures are being used.

After a contract has been authorized, depending if there is financing or not, a closing will occur usually within ninety (90) days.
