Download and complete the New York purchase and sale agreements for residential real estate provided by the Rochester Board of Realtors. There may also be disclosure forms in addition to the contract that the seller will have to complete to identify any structural or environmental issues with the property.
It it always recommended to have representation through an attorney or real estate agent (or Realtor) when buying or selling property. If a real estate agent is being used a commission may have to be paid by the buyer or seller. A seller must abide by all disclosure laws and be sure to inform the buyer of any defects with the property.
