Boat Bill of Sale

The Oregon bill of sale forms (including odometer disclosure) allow any resident or out of state individual to purchase or sell a vehicle or boat.

The new owner of the vehicle must bring the bill of sale to the form to the:

• Vehicles – Find a DMV Office

• Vessels – Find a Boat Registration Office. This must be completed within ten (10) days

Registration

• Vehicles
  • Emissions Certification – Proof the vehicle passed emissions
  • Blank check(s) for the fees involved
  • Title/Registration Application
  • *If the owner of the vehicle  would like to have to have someone else handle the registration or titling on their behalf, they may appoint an individual through the Vehicle Power of Attorney Form.

• Boats
  • Title/Registration Application
  • If Necessary – Lien Release
