Use the sublease agreement for use between a person that is currently under a lease agreement and a person that is seeking to rent the same space. This type of rental arrangement is common among urban developments with more than one roommate and college campuses when a student returns home for the summer and/or holidays.

The Landlord should always be notified of the new rental arrangement unless it is specifically allowed in the original lease. It must be known by all parties that the original Tenant is responsible for all payments until the end of his or her agreement with the Landlord.
