Rhode Island Bill of Sale Forms

The Rhode Island vehicle bill of sale form allows for a transaction to take place between a buyer and seller of a motor vehicle. It must be signed by all parties and is federally required that the exact mileage be recorded on the document. The new buyer may use it to apply for registration and title at the Department of Motor Vehicles (See Offices).

• Registration/Title Application
• Sales Tax Form
• Proof of Insurance
• Title signed and transferred from the previous owner
• Blank checks to account for registration and sales tax fees
