Use the West Virginia bill of sale to transfer the ownership of a vehicle, vessel, or trailer from one party to another. The only requirements are that the odometer mileage be stated on the disclosure form and that the bill of sale be notarized.and that both buyer and seller sign in front of a notary public.

• Application for Registration/Title
• Odometer Disclosure
• Blank check for fee
• Previous title signed over to new owner
• Proof of car insurance
• Proper Identification

Bring all the necessary documents to the Department of Transportation office (Find in Your Area).
