How to File
Step 1 – Download – Complete the articles of organization and attach a check, $50 for domestic and $250 for foreign, payable to the ‘Mississippi Secretary of State’.
- Domestic (F0100) – For all companies that will be located inside the State
- Foreign (F0200) – For all companies located outside the State
Step 2 – Send – Get the articles of organization with the attached check and send to:

Tips
- If the company is going to be opening a bank account a representative will need to apply for an EIN or taxpayer identification number. You can in paper form or apply online at the IRS website.
- Whether you are trying to keep your business status or want to protect yourself from other members in the LLC, it is recommended to download and complete an operating agreement.
