Step 1 – Print Application – Fill out the articles of organization on your computer or print and fill in with black ink.

Step 2 – Filing Fee – Attach a check payable to the New Jersey Secretary of State for $125.

Step 3 – Send – Send the application and fee to the following address:

Tips

  • EIN Number – It is required that any LLC that is seeking to register a bank account in New Jersey register an employment Identification Number with the Internal Revenue Service (Apply Online).
  • Operating Agreement – This form outlines the rules and how the business will be managed by the Members. It also details how profits will be shared and how much each member owns of the total company (Multi-Membered). For LLC’s with only one (1 ) owner, this form helps signify additional evidence to any outside party that the company is in fact a business entity and not just a shield for financial purposes.
