The Alaska Articles of Organization allows a resident to be able to create an LLC (Limited Liability Company) with the Secretary of State’s office. In order to file the document, must be completed either online or in it’s paper version and sent with the filing fee to the address provided.

How to File

Step 1 – Fill out one of the Articles of Organization documents or fill out online. When completing this form you will need to enter the six (6) digit NAICS Number.

• Domestic Form – File Online – For any new company that will be located inside the State
• Foreign Form – File Online – For any existing company that is located outside the State

Step 2 – Add a check in the amount of $250 for domestic and $350 for foreign entities made payable to the Secretary of State’s office. Be sure to mail to:

Wait approximately 5 to 7 business days for your completed LLC to arrive in the mail.
