The Oregon LLC articles of organization is a form used to create an LLC by completing the document, attaching the fee, and sending to the Secretary of State. The form may be completed after printing or by *filing online (*Only for domestic LLC’s).

How to File
Option 1 – *Apply Online – You may go to the Corporations Division and register an LLC online. Fill in the blanks and pay the filing fee of $100 at the end of the session. The completed formation will arrive in the mail after 7 to 10 business days.
Option 2 – Print Paper Application – Download and complete one of the printable articles of organization forms.
- Domestic – For all businesses that will be located in the State.
- Foreign – For all business that are located outside the State.
Attach the filing fee of $100 (Foreign is $275) and make payable to the Corporation Division. Send the fee along with the completed document to:

Tips
- Obtain Tax ID – In order to create a bank account a tax identification number (EIN) must be obtained from the Internal Revenue Service. You may apply online or through the paper version.
- Operating Agreement – Use this agreement to outline the business structure of a company if there is more than one owner and protect the entity status by completing this form.
