Tips

  • Bank Accounts (EIN Number) – In order to be able to register for a bank account with your LLC, an Employer Identification Number (EIN) must be applied for either in the mail or online. This is a free service provided by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
  • Operating Agreement – If an LLC is owned by members or a single owner, it is recommended that this form be completed to protect the companies entity status as well as the members from themselves. An operating agreement outlines the terms and conditions on which company will function, ownership, revenues, profit sharing, and any other details necessary.
