How to File
Step 1 – Choose Type – Choose the form that best fits what kind of LLC you are trying to form;
- Domestic (Most Common) – This is for all LLC’s that will have a principal office address within the State.
- Foreign – This is for all companies that are located outside the State.
*After completing the form make one (1) copy that must be included in the filing.
Step 2 – Attach Fee – It is required that a filing fee be attached and made payable to the ‘Secretary of State’.

- Foreign – $750

Tips
- Apply For an EIN – Also known as the Employer Identification Number, this number is necessary in order to open a bank account or obtain credit cards. The number is distributed by the Internal Revenue Service either by paper form or applying online.
- LLC Operating Agreement – This agreement should be filled out by every single and multi-membered company to protect themselves from partners and their entity status.
